Veggie & Tomato Stars

My Cheesy Carrot Stars remain one of my most popular recipes. Here’s a twist, with the addition of butternut squash & Piccolo Cherry Tomatoes giving them a natural sweetness that babies & toddlers love. These are a must try!

Recipe Saved


100g butternut squash, grated
75g carrot, peeled and grated
4 spring onions, chopped
75g cherry tomatoes, chopped
50g Parmesan, finely grated (or vegetarian alternative)
2 eggs, beaten
4 tbsp self-rising flour


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 Fan. Line a large baking sheet with baking paper.
  2. Measure the ingredients together in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Place a star cutter on the baking sheet. Spoon the mixture inside and push down using the back of a spoon. Remove the cutter and repeat with the remaining mixture.
  4. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until lightly golden and firm.
