Ingredients
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 small leek, chopped
2 carrot, peeled and finely chopped
2 celery sticks, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp of tomato puree
400g tomatoes, chopped
750ml chicken or vegetable stock
Dash sugar
55g orzo pasta

Method
- Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the onion, leek, carrot and celery and fry for 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic and fry for 10 seconds. Add the puree, chopped tomatoes, sugar, stock and orzo. Cover and bring up to the boil. Simmer, stirring from time to time for 15 minutes until the pasta is cooked through.
