Sweet Potato, Carrot and Apricot Puree

This vegetable puree is suitable from 6 months. Root vegetables have a natural sweetness that babies like and they are easy to digest.

Ingredients

250 g small sweet potato (peeled and chopped)
75 g 1 medium carrot peeled and sliced
30 g dried apricots, chopped
350 ml boiling water

Method

  1. Put the sweet potato, carrot and apricots in a saucepan. Pour over the boiling water and cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  2. Drain, and purée using an electric hand blender.
