Prawns are a rich source of iron and rolled up in half white half wholemeal bread, which has added Vitamin D and calcium, it’s a packed lunch powerhouse! Try serving them with child friendly chopsticks for extra fun!

Ingredients
Prawn & Tomato
75g small cooked prawns
1 tbsp mayonnaise
2 slices Warburtons Half White Half Wholemeal medium bread
a little margarine (or spread of choice)
4 cherry tomatoes, chopped
2 small lettuce leaves

Salmon & Cucumber
75g tinned red salmon, drained
1 tsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp mayonnaise
2 Warburtons Half White Half Wholemeal medium bread
a little margarine (or spread of choice)
¼ cucumber, sliced into thin strips
1 tsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp mayonnaise
2 Warburtons Half White Half Wholemeal medium bread
a little margarine (or spread of choice)
¼ cucumber, sliced into thin strips
Method
To make the Prawn and Tomato:
- Put the prawns and mayo into a small bowl. Mix well and season lightly.
- Put the bread onto a board. Remove the crusts and roll out thinly using a rolling pin.
- Spread with margarine. Place the prawns at one end of the bread and top with the tomatoes and lettuce.
- Tightly roll the bread up from the filling end (so that you have a long sausage shape!)
- Once rolled, gently but firmly press along the length of the roll so that it holds together. Then slice into three pieces
To make Salmon and Cucumber
- Put the salmon, ketchup and mayonnaise into a bowl. Mix well and season lightly.
- Put the bread onto a board. Remove the crusts and roll out thinly using a rolling pin. Spread with margarine. Place the salmon at one end of the bread and top with the cucumber.
- Tightly roll the bread up from the filling end (so that you have a long sausage shape!)
- Once rolled, gently but firmly press along the length of the roll so that it holds together. Then slice into three pieces.
Top Tip! Thinly grated carrot makes a healthy, sweet addition to your sushi sarnies. It’s all about experimenting!
