Steak Wrap with Tomatoes & Peppers

Get the kids involved with loading & rolling up their own wraps. You can substitute beef for chicken if preferred.

300 g Sirloin Steak, sliced into strips
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp honey
2 tbsp sunflower oil
1 large red onion, sliced
1/2 red pepper, deseeded & sliced
1 tsp ginger, grated
2 tomatoes, deseeded & sliced into strips
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
a little iceberg lettuce, shredded
a little mayonnaise
6 mini wraps
  1. Put the steak strips into a bowl. Add the oyster sauce, soy and honey.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a wok. Add the steak and quickly fry until golden, set aside.
  3. Add the remaining oil to the pan.
  4. Add the onion, pepper, ginger and fry for 4 minutes until soft.
  5. Return the steak to the pan with the tomatoes, soy and oyster sauce. Season and toss together.
  6. Warm the wraps in a microwave for 1 minute. Place on a board.
  7. Arrange the filling on top then some lettuce and mayonnaise
  8. Roll up and slice in half.
