Stately Sandwich Fingers

A savoury snack fit for a Queen, these Stately Sandwich Fingers are sure to get the royal seal of approval.

Ingredients

Egg Mayonnaise:
1 hard boiled egg
10g mayonnaise
Tuna Mayonnaise and Tomato:
50g drained tuna
10g mayonnaise
½ tomato, deseeded and diced
5g Cheddar cheese, grated
Gruyere with Chutney and Cucumber:
1 slice gruyere cheese
1 tsp mango chutney
6 slices cucumber
Chicken and Sweetcorn:
30g cooked chicken, diced
15g mayonnaise
15g sweetcorn

Method

  1. Mash the egg with the mayonnaise and lightly season.
  2. Spread the egg mayo over one slice of white bread and sandwich together with another slice of white bread.
  3. Remove the crusts and cut each sandwich into fingers

Tuna Mayonnaise and Tomato

  1. Mix the tuna, mayonnaise and tomato together. Add the cheese.
  2. Spread the tuna mixture over one slice of brown bread, then sandwich together with another slice of brown bread.
  3. Remove the crusts and cut each sandwich into fingers

Gruyere with Chutney and Cucumber

  1. Butter a slice of brown bread.
  2. Arrange the slice of gruyere on top.
  3. Spread the chutney over another slice of brown bread.
  4. Top with a layer of sliced cucumber and sandwich together.
  5. Remove the crusts and slice each sandwich into four.

Chicken and Sweetcorn

  1. Mix the chicken, mayonnaise and sweetcorn together.
  2. Spread the chicken mixture over one slice of white bread and sandwich together with another slice of white bread.
  3. Remove the crusts and cut each sandwich into fingers.
