Speedy Oriental Beef With Rice

Ingredients
2 tbsp sunflower oil
2 banana shallots, chopped
1/2 yellow pepper, diced
1/2 red pepper, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
100g button mushroom, sliced
500g lean minced beef
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp honey, runny
1 tsp rice wine vinegar
4 spring onions, finely sliced
4 tbsp sesame seeds

1 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp honey, runny
1 tsp rice wine vinegar
4 spring onions, finely sliced
4 tbsp sesame seeds
Method
- Heat the oil in a wok. Add the shallot, peppers and mushrooms and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the mince and garlic and fry until browned.
- Mix the hoisin, oyster sauce, soy, honey and vinegar together in a bowl. Pour the sauce over the mince and simmer for 4 minutes until the sauce has reduced.
- Add the spring onions and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
