Salmon & Tomato Pasta

Oily fish such as salmon is the best source of Omega 3 essential fatty acids for your growing baby. Try adding in this lovely tomato pasta sauce to supercharge their lunch or dinner!

Ingredients

125g salmon fillet
3 large tomatoes
1 tsp tomato puree
knob butter
1 clove garlic, crushed
25g grated cheddar
70g pasta shapes

Method

  1. Pre heat the oven to 180 Fan. Put the salmon in tin foil with the butter and make a parcel. Put on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
  2. Put the tomatoes into boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove and remove the skin. Roughly chop the tomatoes.
  3. Put the butter into a saucepan. Add the garlic and fry for a few seconds. Add the tomatoes and puree and cook for a few minutes until reduced.
  4. Cook the pasta in boiling water according to the packet instructions, drain. Add the pasta to the sauce, flake in the salmon and cheese and mix well. Sprinkle with basil.
