Salmon and Pea Pasta Recipe by Annabel Karmel

Salmon & Pea Pasta

This recipe is suitable for one year plus. It’s a tasty way to get your little one excited about eating salmon. And the essential fatty acids in oily fish are of course essential!

Ingredients

150g salmon fillet
150g fusilli pasta
100g frozen peas
2 tbsp olive oil
1 leek, sliced
150g crème fraiche
1 tbsp dill chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
20g parmesan, grated

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C Fan. Line a baking sheet with foil. Put the salmon fillet on top. Fold over the foil and make a parcel. Bake for 12 minutes then flake into small pieces.
  2. Cook the pasta in boiling water according to the packet instructions. Add the peas 3 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Drain.
  3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Add the leek and fry for 3 to 4 minutes, Add the crème fraiche, pasta, peas, lemon, and dill. Bring up to the boil, add the salmon and Parmesan cheese.

Not suitable for freezing
