Rudolph Turkey Burgers

Who can resist a mini burger, but especially mini Rudolph Turkey Burgers!? It doesn’t get more festive than this recipe…

Ingredients

Turkey burgers

350g minced turkey thigh
½ apple, peeled and grated
1 small carrot, peeled and grated
¼ red pepper, finely diced
1 small onion , chopped
1 tbsp fresh sage , chopped
30g Cheddar cheese, grated
45g Panko breadcrumbs

To serve

Mini burger buns
Large pretzels
Cherry tomatoes
Edible eyes
Cocktail sticks
Lettuce
Mayonnaise
Method
  1. Measure all of the turkey burger ingredients into a food  processor. Whiz until finely chopped. Season and shape into 15 mini burgers.
  2. Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Fry the burgers for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  3. To assemble your Rudolph turkey burgers. Place a lettuce leaf on top of the halved bun, then the burger and finally the top of the bun. Break a pretzel into two. Stick each half into the top of the bun. Attach a cherry tomato for the nose using a cocktail stick and finally stick the eyes onto the burger bun using a dab of mayonnaise. Remember to remove cocktail sticks before serving to young children.
