Peanut Butter Bears

If you’re heading to a teddy bear’s picnic then be sure to take these edible peanut butter bears with you.

Egg-free
Prep Time: 20 minutes (plus chilling time)
Makes: 8 bears
Great for:  Kids - 2-4 Years Kids 4+ Years

Ingredients
40g Rice Krispies
75g icing sugar
2 tbsp sesame seeds
100g smooth peanut butter
40g unsalted butter

Decoration

16 chocolate buttons
Mini M&M’s
Black writing icing
Method
  1. Put the Rice Krispies in a large bowl, stir in the icing sugar and sesame seeds.
  2. Melt the peanut butter and butter in a medium pan over a low heat. Pour the peanut butter mixture into the Rice Krispies bowl and stir with a wooden spoon until everything is well mixed together.
  3. Divide the mixture into 8 (roughly 2 tbsp each), squish each portion together with your hands then roll into a ball.
  4. Put the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment and flatten the bottoms. Push chocolate buttons into the sides for ears & push on mini M&M’s for eyes and noses.Use the writing icing to pipe on a mouth. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes, or until firm.
