Halloween Frankenstein Krispies

Turn regular rice krispies into spooky monsters perfect for Halloween! These easy Halloween Frankenstein Krispies will be the hit of every party!

50g soft brown sugar
50g golden syrup
75g butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
50g white chocolate, broken into pieces
good pinch sea salt
green food colouring
75g rice Krispies
To decorate
Edible eyes
100g plain chocolate, melted
Black icing pen


  1. Line a 20 x 20 square tin with baking paper.
  2. Measure the sugar, syrup and butter together in a saucepan. Stir until melted. Add the vanilla, white chocolate and salt. Stir until smooth and runny. Add the green food colouring. Add the rice kripies and stir until the krispies are coated in the mixture. Spoon into the tin and level the surface. Chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
  3. Remove from the tin and slice in to 8 rectangles.
  4. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top and sides of the krispie bar make the Frankenstein”s hair. Add the eyes and draw eyebrows and a mouth using the black icing pen.
