Ingredients

  • 12 large white marshmallows
  • 150g white cooking chocolate
  • 6 tbsp double cream
  • Green food gel
  • Orange food gel
  • Chocolate, white and red ready to roll icing
  • Black and brown and icing pens
  • 12 cake pop sticks
  • White chocolate chips

Method

Pumpkin Pops

  1. Put 50g of white chocolate, 2 tbsp of double cream into a bowl and melt as you did for the orange and green coatings.
  2. Insert the pop sticks into the 12 marshmallows.
  3. Dip 4 into the orange chocolate, turning to get an even coating. Place in a pop stick stand or in foam to stand up and set.
  4. Roll out 20g of chocolate icing. Cut out triangles for the pumpkin’s eyes and stick onto the orange pops (brush the underside with a little water to help them stick). Draw on the mouth with a brown icing pen.

Frankenstein Pops

  1. Put 50g of white chocolate, 2 tbsp of double cream and 1/4 tsp of green gel food colouring into a bowl. Melt as you did for the orange coating.
  2. Dip 4 marshmallows into the icing, turning to get an even coating. Place in a pop stick stand or in foam to stand up and set.
  3. Roll out 50g of chocolate ready to roll icing. Cut out four rounds using a 4 cm fluted cutter. Place these onto the green pops to make the monster’s hair.
  4. Roll out white icing into small balls to create the eyes and stick onto the pops (brush the underside with a little water to help them stick). Stick white chocolate chips onto the sides of the green face to act as bolts, add eyeballs and draw on a mouth using the brown icing pen.

Vampire Pops

  1. Put 50g of white chocolate, 2 tbsp of double cream into a bowl and melt as you did for the orange and green coatings.
  2. Cut out another 4 rounds from the ready to roll chocolate icing and make a ‘V-shape for the vampire’s hair. Stick the vampire’s hair onto the coated marshmallow.
  3. Dip 4 marshmallows into the icing, turning to get an even coating. Place in a pop stick stand or in foam to stand up and set.
  4. Roll out thin fangs using the red icing and stick onto the marshmallow face (brush the underside with a little water to help them stick). Use the brown icing pens to make the Vampire’s eyes and eyebrows and leave to set.
