These eggless chocolate chip cookies are perfect for any occasion. This is also a great recipe if you like to snack on the raw cookie dough (safe to eat, as these cookies are eggless!)

Ingredients
100g butter
75g soft brown sugar
1 tbsp golden syrup
Pinch of salt
½ tsp vanilla extract
50g plain chocolate chips
170g self raising flour

Method
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F.
- Measure the butter and sugar into a bowl.
- Whisk using a hand whisk until the mixture has lightened in colour.
- Add the golden syrup. Add the pinch of salt, flour, vanilla and chocolate chips.
- Bring the mixture together using your hands.
- Lightly knead and shape into 20 balls , then flatten on the baking sheet.
- Bake for about 10 minutes.
