Ingredients
1 1/4 cucumbers
1 carrot, to make the teeth
a selection of hard cheeses, such as Gruyere, Cheddar, Edam cut into cubes.
1 fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into cubes
2 cherry tomatoes

Method
- Cut out a triangle at one end of the whole cucumber, to make the crocodile’s mouth.
- Cut a long strip form the carrot, using a vegetable peeler, and trim it to a width of 1.5cm (1/2 in).
- Cut zigzags along one side to form the teeth.
- Make a groove in the crocodile’s mouth to hold the carrot strip.
- Use a quarter of another cucumber to cut out feet, and attach these using cocktail sticks.
- Thread the cheese and pineapple cubes onto cocktail sticks and poke the sticks into the cucumber.
- Use two halves of another cocktail stick to attach the cherry tomatoes behind the mouth, to form the eyes.
