It’s time to practise your whisking and flipping skills with my perfect caterpillar pancakes with Whitworths yoghurt dunked raisins! Here’s a little tip – to make your pancake batter nice and smooth, add the liquid slowly and whisk as you go.
1 apple, peeled and grated
2 x 20g Whitworths yoghurt raisins
- Measure the flour and eggs into a bowl. Whisk together. Slowly add the milk. whisking all the time to make a smooth batter. Add the apple. Roughly chop one packet of raisins and add to the mixture.
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Add spoonful’s of the mixture to make small round pancakes. Fry for a few minutes then flip over and cook for 2 minutes on the other side until golden. Set aside.
- Arrange the pancakes into a caterpillar shape on a large plate. Make feet out of strawberries. Add strawberries and two blueberries for the eyes. Add one raisin for the nose. Use the remaining raisins to make the caterpillar’s antennae.
