Avocado & Banana Puree

This Avocado and Banana Puree recipe is a classic first taste flavour pairing. Avocados make ideal baby food as they contain more nutrients than any other fruits.

Raw fruits are great for your baby as none of the nutrients are lost in the cooking process. Plus, there’s no cooking or prep involved for you! This Avocado & Banana Puree recipe is a classic first tastes flavour pairing.


Recipe Saved


1/4 avocado
1/2 small ripe banana
1-2 tbsp baby’s usual milk or Greek yoghurt (optional)


  1. Mash the avocado together with the banana and add a little milk or yoghurt if you wish.
  2. Serve straight away
  3. You can also substitute the flesh of half a small papaya for the avocado. If using papaya, the milk is then optional.
