The key ingredient to Annabel Karmel’s baby and toddler meals is her career spanning more than 25 years.

With her life having turned upside down following the loss of her daughter Natasha at just 3 months, and then a year later having her son Nicholas who was the world’s worst eater – this was the foundation to her expertise in Baby and Toddler cookery.

She ran a playgroup from home and shared her recipes with the other mums. They encourage her to write a book with her recipes.

Annabel spent two years researching the book and cooking up recipes testing them on all the babies and toddlers in the playgroup. It was a challenge to get published and in 1991 it finally came out – the much loved Complete Baby & Toddler Meal Planner. Her legacy to Natasha. It became the leading book on feeding babies and toddlers and sold millions of copies all over the world 🌍.
