Peach Puree

New to weaning? This peach baby puree is a great first taste. If it’s too runny when pureed then you can stir in some baby rice to thicken.

Ingredients
1 large ripe peach
A little baby rice (optional)
Method
  1. Using a sharp knife, cut a shallow cross on the base of the peach.
  2. Place in a small bowl and pour over some boiling water.
  3. Leave to stand for 40 to 60 seconds to allow the water to loosen the skin.
  4. Drain the pan and place the peach in a bowl of iced water for 1 minute. The skin should then peel away easily.
  5. Cut the flesh away from the stone and blend until smooth. You can add a little baby rice to thicken if a little thin. Serve straight away.
