My Favourite Porridge

Oats help stabilise blood sugar & release long lasting energy so it’s a great breakfast option to set your family up for their day ahead.

Ingredients
150 ml milk
15 g porridge oats
6 ready to eat apricots, chopped
1 large ripe pear, peeled, cored and cut into peices
Method
  1. Put the milk, porridge oats and chopped apricots in a small saucepan, bring to the boil and then simmer, stirring occasionally for 3 minutes.
  2. Purée together with the chopped pear using a hand-held blender
