Kids can create their own salad or fruit combos & enjoy a healthy lunch at home.

Ingredients

Savoury Lunch Stick

slices of ham or turkey rolled up
cubes of cheese Wedges of pineapple
cherry tomatoes
mozzarella
chicken Tikka
cucumber
carrot
red pepper
cubes of Gruyere or Emmenthal cheese
squares of tortilla omelette
salami

Fruit Lunch Stick

chunks of pineapple
dried apricots
strawberries
melon
kiwi
grapes
cubes of mango
Method
  1. Thread a selection of savoury items or fruits onto a thin straw. For older children you can use a skewer.
  2. Some of our favourite combinations are:
  • Slices of ham or turkey, cubes of cheese and wedges of pineapple
  • Cherry tomatoes and Mozzarella cheese
  • Chiken Tikka pieces with cucumber
  • Cucumber, carrot, red pepper and Emmental cheese cubes
