Finger foods are great for toddlers; you can give raw vegetable sticks, breads and meats, but you must still be careful about foods such as whole nuts, olives and any other hard foods that could be swallowed. Toddlers love to put anything and everything in their mouths, and it would be very easy for them to choke on such foods.
By now, your child is likely to have sampled an array of finger foods – from steamed vegetables to soft fruits, toast soldiers and pasta. So now it’s time to crank up the crunch factor with even more tastes and textures.
Though finger foods are great for toddlers remember that choking is still a risk factor, so never leave your toddler unattended with food.
