Baby's First Bolognese

Red meat is very important for babies from 6 months because the iron they inherit from their mother runs out and the best source of iron comes from red meat. You can make your own delicious Bolognese in minutes by combining my ‘Make It Easy’ sauce with good quality lean organic minced beef. It’s a good idea to make four portions at a time and multiply the ingredients using 100g lean minced beef and 4 tbsp pasta shells and then freezing the 3 extra portions.
Ingredients
MethodCook the pasta according to the packet instructions. Heat the oil in a small saucepan and sauté the shallot until softened. Add the minced beef and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until browned. Stir in the sauce and cook covered for 2 minutes. Finally stir in the pasta shells.
