This looks amazing and it makes a fabulous prop for children’s healthy snacks. You could also use rolled up slices of sliced ham with the pineapple and cheese.

Its fun to hold parties with a theme. A cooking party where the children are divided into pairs and they cook the party food themselves is a lot of fun or how about a sports party where the children play fun games like Dressing Up Races, Wheelbarrow, Spud and Spoon and Three Legged Races.

Ingredients

1 carrot
1 1/4 cucumbers
mixture of cheeses eg: gruyere, cheddar etc..
1 fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into cubes or
1 small can of pineapple chunks
cocktail sticks
2 cherry tomatoes

Method:

Cut out a triangle at one end of the cucumber to make the crocodile’s mouth. Cut a long strip from a carrot using a vegetable peeler. Cut this into a strip about _” wide and cut along one side to form a serrated edge. Cut a groove in the mouth of the crocodile to hold the carrot strip. These are the crocodile’s teeth. Use a quarter of another cucumber to cut out feet for the crocodile and attach these with toothpicks to the whole crocodile. Chop the cheese and pineapple into cubes. Thread cheese and pineapple cubes onto each cocktail stick and spear the sticks into the cucumber. Cut a cocktail stick in half and use the two halves to attach the cherry tomatoes to form the crocodile’s eyes.
