This is quick and easy party food to assemble and looks great – the sausages will vanish in no time at all. |

An original hand made invitation will set the scene for a very special party. How about a Baby Photo invitation. Photocopy a cute photo of the birthday girl or boy as a baby. Write on the front something like ‘Guess Who’s Having a Birthday Party!’ and add the party details on the back. |
Ingredients1 large grapefruit
Method:To make the hedgehog’s eyelashes, curl short lengths of licorice by wrapping them around a pencil and securing with tightly wrapped silver foil. Set aside for 30 minutes for the eyelashes to take shape. Cut a thin slice off the base of the grapefruit so that it sits flat, then using a sharp knife, make two slits for the eyes and insert the licorice eyelashes. To form the hedgehog’s nose, attach the olive to the grapefruit using half a cocktail stick. Cook the sausages, spear with cocktail sticks (toothpicks) and stick into the grapefruit to form the hedgehog’s spikes. |

This is so easy, and the children loved it! Made the table at my daughter's birthday party look festive and cheerful.
