Three layer dessert set in glasses.  Jelly with strawberries, whipped cream and meringue, topped with fresh berries. Decorate with mini England flags.

 

Ingredients

1 X 135g packet strawberry or raspberry jelly
225g strawberries, hulled and quartered
1 X 284ml carton double or whipping cream
2 meringue nests (30g )
raspberries,  blackberries and redcurrants
fresh mint for decoration
mini flags for decoration

 

Method

Divide the strawberries between six glasses.  Make up the jelly according to the packet instructions and pour over the strawberries.  Place in the fridge until the jelly is set.

Whip the cream.  Break the meringues into pieces and stir into the whipped cream.  When the jelly is set, divide the cream between the four glasses.   

Top with the fresh berries and sprig of mint and add some mini England flags.
