Halloween Recipes

My kids always loved Halloween; any chance of dressing up and annoying the neighbours was an opportunity too good to miss.
I’ve got some really fun and exciting recipe ideas on my website that won't break the bank and your kids will absolutely love.
Don’t forget that making food fun is also a great way to get your kids involved.
Bat & Ghost Cookies
It looks great if you collect some twigs and hang the bats upside down from the branches.

Top tip one...
If you want children to come trick or treating at your door, carve out a pumpkin and place a lit candle inside. Top tip two... Have a basket of treats to hand out to the children like wrapped sweets, bite-sized chocolate bars, black and orange jelly beans, Halloween novelty sweets and maybe some non edible treats like erasers, pencils or tiny toys. Top tip three... If you want to take your children trick or treating work out a route and telephone your neighbours and friends in advance so they are not disappointed. Always have an adult accompany the children. Top tip four... If you have a large pumpkin it can be fun to hollow it out and fill the centre with a glass or plastic bowl and fill with a fruit punch which you can ladle into glasses. You could also fill it with a lovely warming pumpkin soup. |
