Pumpkin Oranges

Children are intrigued by these mini versions of a carved pumpkin. They look fantastic, feel strange and taste good.

Those went down well with the children and parents at the Birralee Halloween Party today. Our Norwegian jelly packages make 0,5 litres each, so I used one raspberry and one strawberry combined, with a little less water, as prescribed. That turned out not to be enough jelly for 8 rather large oranges, so I had to fill them with half and half jelly and chopped up oranges (after all, the oranges scooped out had to be used somehow). As long as I put jelly in the front, to be seen through the face, and on top, it still looked brilliant.
