Kids Chicken Curry
| This is one of my favourite family recipes. Simple to make but with a delicious mild, fruity curry chicken flavour. If you like you could add some baby sweetcorn. Its great served with poppadums and fluffy white rice. |

Children often have more sophisticated tastes than we might imagine. Lots of children like olives and even sushi. I design the menus for Asquith of the largest nursery groups in the country and we asked one thousand children in the nursery what their favourite meal was. Well, you will never guess, it was Chicken Curry with Spaghetti Bolognese coming a close second. |
Ingredients2 tbsp vegetable oil
Method:Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan and sauté the onion and carrot for 3 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for half a minute. Then add the apple and stir fry for 3 minutes. Add the chicken and stir fry for 4 minutes Add the Korma curry paste, mango chutney, tomato puree, frozen peas, coconut milk and chicken stock and simmer for about 10 minutes. Season to taste.

Made this for our 19 month old daughter who really loved it. She has been sick recently and this is always great to kick start her appetite.

I make this often as both my Son and husband love it and I can defiantly recommend it, plates are always clean when this is on the table and it nice to cook something which has got lots of different flavour in, BEST Still is make a bigger batch and then freeze it ;-)

Just made this recipe for my daughter and me, really tasty. Probably the best i have tatsed. I didn't use curry paste,i used the powder. It wasn't too spicey, you can taste the flavours in the curry instead of heat. Brilliant, will be making this again!

this recipe is brilliant! healthy and easy to make. my child (an ante-curry eater!) loved this. its the fruitest possible curry and so creamy and light. i also added in a small tin of green giant sweetcorn as its his fav and the sweet bites of it seemed to make it all the more enjoyable. btw: so many of your recipes are loved by me and 40 other slimming world members at my club! they're excellent and we love your work! xx thank you.
