Introduce your baby to chicken with this simple chicken recipe. The sweet potato and apple add sweetness and flavour  to the simple chicken recipe that babies love and gives the puree a smoother texture.  You could also make this simple chicken recipe using carrot instead of the sweet potato.

Simple Chicken Recipes

A lot of mums continue giving only fruit and vegetable purees to their babies when in fact they need fish, chicken and meat introduced into the diet soon after 6 months.  This makes a very good first chicken puree. You could also make this using chicken thigh – the brown meat of chicken contains twice as much iron as the white.
