| My children used to love this for breakfast. Not only does it taste great, it is also packed full of nutritious ingredients. Oats help stabilise blood sugar and give long lasting energy. Dried apricots are a good source of betacarotene, iron and also contain fibre. | ||

Whole cow's milk can be used for cooking or mixing with food for babies 6-12 months but it must not be given as baby's main milk source until 1 year old.
As for substituting fruits I'm sure you can, but just be careful with the skins on dried fruits, they're best processed using a mouli first to separate the skins as these can be difficult for baby to digest.

What milk should be used? Full cream regular milk? or formula or breastmilk?

I'm a little confused. I thought that we can't give a baby less than a year old whole milk? And you can't cook breastmilk or formula. Can I cook the oats first with water and then add breastmilk or formula?
