How amazing it was to receive this in the post this morning! My 4 year old is autistic and it brought tears of joy to me to see how excited she was to get something in the post! The main bonding time for us is to read books (it seems to be the only thing I can get the ritualistic steps right for!) So it felt amazing to sit with her and read this book. Lily enjoyed this immensely, we read it 3 times in one sitting (and with her attention span that's saying something!) The pictures are lovely,even moreso as its a little one and I'm currently expecting, so I could relate her to it in that sense too, showing her what we'll be doing for little one when he/she arrives! The language used is simple, so easy for her to understand, and the rhytmn and rhyme makes it a very soothing read, good for winding down! Thank you so much for making today so special!!

Having recently started reading to my ten month old, they closeness I feel to him is second to none. In between chewing the book, giggling at the repetition and trying to turn the pages before it's time, the whole experience is fab and I love it :-)
