B VITAMINS
Vitamin B12 is needed for growth and division of cells. It is only found in foods of animal origin such as meat, poultry, fish, eggs and dairy produce. Some breakfast cereals are also fortified with vitamin B12 and yeast extract is another source. Vegetarians who eat dairy foods and eggs will probably get enough vitamin B12, however vegans may need to take supplements as well as eating food fortified with B12 like breakfast cereal and yeast extract.

ZINC
Zinc is essential for normal growth and development.

Food with zinc are:
• Pulses
• Wholemeal bread
• Egg yolk.
