Sleep and Nutrition

Can food help your child sleep? The simple answer is yes it can if your child is eating the right sort of food. But if your child is eating the wrong sort of food it can also hinder sleep.

With obesity rates on the increase we could be breeding a generation of fat, sleepless children. So it’s vital that we understand how food affects the body and which foods to eat to aid sleep and which to avoid can make a real difference both to your child’s daytime and night-time sleep.
