If your baby sleeps for several hours in the day and wakes up a lot at night they probably have their day and night times mixed up. Daytime means light, people talking, noises, cuddles and being woken up for a feed but night-time means dark and quiet. Don’t wake your baby after their dream feed so they can have their long sleep during the night. Only change the nappy if it’s dirty. Soon your baby will start sleeping longer in the night time and daytimes will be more settled with regular feeds, naps and lots of playing and smiles. |
