Cigarette smoke can be very harmful to your unborn baby. Smoking cigarettes reduces the oxygen level in your blood which deprives your baby of oxygen. Smoking in pregnancy can result in:

• Miscarriage
• Premature birth
• Birth defects
• Stillbirth
