• Encourage your baby’s interest in the adult world by giving her baby-sized versions of adult tools like brooms, rolling pins and prams to play with. • Toys like shape sorters are good for improving manual dexterity too and for learning that some objects are the same shape and some are different. • Wooden inset puzzle trays and very simple jigsaw puzzles are great for developing hand to eye coordination and special awareness.
