Starting a routine

Don’t worry about getting your baby into a strict routine in the early weeks; she is too young to respond. At 3 or 4 months your baby is able to go longer without the need for food and she will start to respond to the feeding and sleeping patterns that you set. You can begin to teach your baby the difference between night and day. During the day talk to your baby and play with him but at night feed him using a dim light and keep everything very quiet and calm. |
