Well I gave these to Izzy for lunch today and she ate them all up, didn't work out giving them cut up as finger food but she ate them cut up into small pieces off a spoon and seemed to enjoy them!

Hubby ate one too while he was giving her her lunch and said they were so good could we have them for dinner one night too!!!

I never thought of freezing them already made. I think I need to try that sometime. Thanks for the idea!

These sound really lovely. I am going to use your coating on mine. A great tip from Nigella is to marinate your chicken pieces in buttermilk - the culture in it totally softens and tenderises. She uses ritz crackers as a coating, so a total no-no in terms of salt content for wee ones.

Hi to everyone i have been checking in everyday to c what was new and i thought i might as well join in. I have three boys and they love chicken nuggets. I will definitely be trying this recipe but i just wanted to ask about freezing how long do i let nuggets cool down for before i put in freezer.
Can i take out of freezer and straight to oven i thought you had to defrost all meat in fridge first.
As you can tell i know very little about freezing i have always cooked day to day but when you work, it would be handy to have some dinners ready in the freezer.

Any advice on freezing would be appricated.

Welcome!

I do go from freezer to oven. I would let them cool, then put them on a baking sheet in the oven till frozen and then put them in a freezer back. That way you can pull them out one at a time and they are not all stuck together.
