vol a vonts & pizza
Not exactly a amde up recipe but today I used ready made pastry vol avonts that you cook from frozen and then fill: it was a pack of 18 so I made white sauce and filled 6 of each with the following:
tomato and cheese: skinned and deseeded tomatoes and cooke dtil mushy and stirred in cheese and added some white sauce to make it spoonable into the pastry case: went down a traet with Rhys at teatime: he pointed to it on the table
chicken and tarragon and white sauce
ham and mushroom and white sauce
Then I open froze them to use at a later date
Also made at teh wekend pizza made with plain flour (200g), olive oil (50ml) & milk(100ml) and made into a dough then topped with passata and whatever topping you want: cooked for a few minutes then cooled & frozen like that: to use, you cook from frozen for abt 10mins. This made 4 child size pizzas
