Default Chicken Nuggets, Fish Fingers, Cheesy Bites.

So I made these the other day, the filling is down to you, I used fish and it was yummy!

Yummy Breadcrumb Coating
  • Blitz up some bread to make bread crumbs. Use brown to make it even healthier. (If you don't have a blender then brought ones would be fine)
  • lightly dry toast (with no oil) in a frying pan
  • Tip into a bowl and allow to cool
  • Add; a little parmesan (or cheddar), and a pinch of paprika (no salt makes it healthier)
  • Whisk up a couple eggs
  • Dip the filling, (fish, chicken or mozzerella) into the egg until covered.
  • Coat with the breadcrumb mixture
  • Place onto a greaseproof sheet
  • Cook at 180c for about 10/15 mins until cooked through. Turn once.

These a really yummy and so much healthier than the shop brought ones as you know exactly goes in them.
They are also great with a pinch of chilli powder. (For adults.)

ps Mozzerella cook way quicker, I even griddle them but before putting the pan on the heat use kitchen paper to wipe Olive oil onto pan.

Yum, yum, yum, that sounds good.

Do you think it would be possible to make a batch and freeze them? And if so how would you re-heat them? What temp, how long etc.

Thanks
Yumpopgirl.

yes I think that is possible, I personally would oven cook them from frozen and make sure they are cooked completely through. 180c for about 30 mins, does anyone else think the same or would you do it different?
