I have made this tonight but I copied and pasted it into my recipe file ages ago.

I too misunderstood the layering!! I just bunged the butter, lemon, nutmeg and apple sauce in when i mashed the parsnip (cos I am lazy!!) and put a layer of chicken between two layers of parsnip and then the breadcrumbs on top!!

We'll see how it turns out!! haha!
