Default Cheese & Onion Pasties

I made a batch of these & have frozen half as they are great for lunch times.I use frozen pastry but if you have time you can make your own.
This makes 8.

500g pack of frozen puff pastry
300g cold mashed pot/carrot mixture
150g cheese grated
1 red onion grated
4 tbsp milk

Heat oven to 200c.
Roll out the pastry to make a large square.
Cut it into 8 squares.
Mix together the mash, cheese, onion & milk & place a good sized spoonful into the centre of each pastry square.
Moisten the edges of it & fold over, using a fork to seal the edges.

You can freeze them from this point.

Put onto a baking tray & cook for 20mins.

I made these but had a disaster - the ones I salvaged were lovely and Dominic loved them - the rest I obviously hadn't sealed properly and all the filling came out and I was left with pastry puff and no filling!!!! How embarrassing!! I saved two and they were lovely, am going to give them another go at the weekend!!
Thanks for the recipe!
xx
