Fred, our wonderful assistant made me these cupcakes for my birthday...incredibly calorific but they taste delicious!

Electric blue icing and even edible glitter.

What I wanted to ask is whether anyone has found natural blue food colouring anywhere? I am experimenting with a Thomas cake and not sure whether I want to use that much colouring!

I made cupcakes for Isabella's birthday yesterday, I did yoghurt sponge ones with three different flavoured icing.

they look lovely. i do lots of baking but cant post any pictures.

i use colour pastes, you only need a tiny bit. ill check what numbers are in it when i get them out in the morning :

What recipe did ou use, is the topping made like a butter icing mixture?
Did you use a piping bag?

I am asking as i would like to make some yummy cupcakes too.
