Default Recipe help

i want to make a cinnamon bun. i have a bero reciepe book which has a basic victoria sponge recipe in it, for buns (cupcakes i think in USA) you just put the mix into paper cases. i would like to do a cinamon version as it uses standard stuff i always have in.

any suggestions? should i just add some cinamon to it?

Hi Julie

Depends on the type of but, do you want a whirl like thing, or a hot cross but type. Pretty sure i have recipes for both.

its sponge cake, sorry i think im getting confused with different names. here is kind of what i was after

4 oz margerine
4 oz caster sugar
2 medium eggs
4 oz self raising flour

cream marg and suger, beat in eggs, fold in flour. put into paper cases and bake

i figure i could probably just add some cinamon to this to get what i was after but dont know how much

i dont want to have to involve yeast or anything just do some sponge cakes that i can have with cream or ice cream for breakfast sometimes.

i would pop in a couple of heaped teaspoons of cinnamon, and a couple handfuls of raisins, yummy! you can always add more cinnamon next time if you want them stronger.
