I am loving having a tidy house now. Im just tottering about keeping on top of things.

A few days before this started i had cleaned all the food cupboards and i have done what decluttering there is to be done.

Now im just doing what needs to be done but i am so loving just being tidy all the time and if anyone does drop in i dont have to start with 'excuse the mess.....'

Today i made bed and opened all curtains and windows
2 loads of washing (dressing gowns)
Post office and to buy new phone (LO threw the other in toilet)
Keep sink and sides clear

been quite lazy today but house is tidy.

you freak!

ok am kidding - I'm getting a bit OCD with it all too - is an obsession. I'm turning into a 1950s housewife - all I need now if the frilly floral pinny!

today I'm enjoying time with Tilly, though have morning routine sorted:

made beds
opened all curtains and windows
loaded brekkie things into dishwasher and wiped around worktops, sink and high chair

not doing laundry today - we don't have enough to do every day and washing still airing from yesterday so would have nowhere to put any more currently!

took some stuff to post off ice this morning, raided the local next sale and scored some bargains then we went to a 'Super Saturday storytime session' at our local Waterstones, before home for lunch.

after lunch I loaded lunch things things into dishwasher and wiped around worktops, sink and high chair again.

Tilly now asleep so gonna have a little break online then am gonna clean the spare room and wash my hair.
later on am gonna make a lasagne for tea.
bye for now
xx

Have been abit rubbish this weekend, but we have been very busy since friday getting ready for my Uncle's wedding, then the actual wedding yesterday, so I'm just relaxing today. I stuck to my usual morning and bedtime routines. Hubby is going to finish the garden today as my fantastic FIL and his partner weeded and planted some flowers yesterday while we were at the wedding.

I've lost my way this weekend.

Have been out all day (since 5.55am!) and not done my routines.

Have just done one load in WM and second load is on timer for morning. Have emptied DW and cleaned and polished the worktops and sink so am ready to start again tomorrow. Found it so much harder as I'd skipped basic things like loading WM and emptying DW first thing etc. That 15 minutes in a morning makes it all so easy!

So still have a shiny sink, bathrooms still nice and did whizz hoover round but I left the house this morning without breakfast (no isabella!) so nothing got done

Will start a new thread for the new coming week.
