Default Wedding Present Ideas for your DAD!!!

What on earth can I get as a wedding present for my Dad when he re-marries next month?

I have no idea!! What do you get a bloke (and his bride) who have everything??

He's always been awkward to buy for! x

My standard wedding present these days, in fact my standard important event present, is a tree. Well if people have a garden that is. I get something that can be pot grown - japanese maples are my favourite.

My favourite gift was a set of Mr & Mrs beach towels.

I usually browse Gift Ideas, Unique Gifts and Personalised Gifts | notonthehighstreet.com for inspiration. Don't always buy as it can be pricey but it has provided me with some really useful ideas in the past.

i usually opt for a really nice photo frame either for on the wall or stand alone. In fact my mum was given a really fantastic one for digital photos, you can plug it in & it randomly selects & displays the photos you upload onto it.

Thanks for the ideas everyone, am thinking of going for the tree/plant thing as they both love the garden.

Cathy, i gave him a digital frame a couple of years ago for christmas and am always giving pics of the kids framed etc so wanted something a bit different.

I'm going to have a nosey around some garden centres and see what takes my fancy,

Thanks for all the ideas x

I got a lovely photo frame clock from a lovely AK member for mine and hubby's 10th Wedding Anniversary. I love it!
