The best party favors are ones that can be instantly enjoyed, like a decadent chocolate one can pop in their mouth, enjoy and be done with it. So, that is what I would suggest for you. Often you can get pretty little gift boxes to match the wedding colors and double as table decor.
Go with something your guests can eat. A handful of candies in a gossamer bag looks elegantve but inexpensive. The added bonus is that you guests won't leave them on the table or throw them away when they get home. |

I had a very country village fete wedding being a true country bumpkin. We were on a budget too. I ordered ready cut butterfly boxes from ebay 4 pounds for 100 and then I stuffed in a little bit of homemade tissue paper from paperchase also 4.00 pounds and then sugared almonds. They finished off the place settings. I did every-thing on a budget, but then I went for a theme that was quite lenient. I collected pretty teapots from charity shops, as my centre pieces and stuffed them full of flowers, from the supermarket and my garden etc.
