Have read all the replies and have to say that I have used a variety of them. I am lucky enough to have 2 highchairs (1 Stocke that I won courtesy of this website) and one height adjustable one with removable tray. Connie sometimes throws a "hissy fit" when we are in the lounge and the tray is on the highchair so if I want her to eat it either has to be in the kitchen (I sit with her and eat at the same time - breakfast and lunch only), in the dining area (using Stocke) as a family or in her bouncy chair in the lounge but we've stopped this now as was only useful in early stages of weaning. She hates to feel too enclosed, hence tray option only works for finger food. She absolutely loves when we eat as a family, in fact she seems to find this amusing and generally eats everything as we all have a mouthful at the same time and make animated "yum yum" noises. I think you have to make eating fun, if you keep chasing her she may start to associate food with "difficult" situations, I don't want to scare you but I know something this happened to (slightly different to your situation) and her daughter became anorexic. Just keep trying, maybe even make sandwiches cut into fun shapes with cookie cutters - anything to get her eating. Good luck.
