I'm so glad I have found this thread, my 9 month old who used to eat anything and everything has suddenly become really fussy. It's reassuring to know that I'm not alone in the mealtime struggle. Hopefully she will start eating again as quickly as she started being Little Miss Fussy!!

Hi,
My eight month old son has suddenly gone completely off his food the only thing he will eat is rice cakes!!! This is the only finger food he eats I am getting very worried today he had porridge and fruit at 8am and then one bottle of formula at 11am, he has had nothing since...I made toast for him and left it on his tray highchair tray, he just tossed it on the floor!!! What are you feeding your little one as it seems you are having the same problem as me!!! I am beginning to feel like a failure! |

I just posted on another thread explaining the same problem, my son will only take a spoonful here and there. Ive always had to distract him with toys, objects to get him eat its just now he shakes his head and wont take anything after 1 or 2 spoonfuls. Finger food gets thown on the floor. I suppose he will just come around as people tell me...worrying though!

Apart from giving your baby at least 500-600 ml of breast/formula milk everyday you can try below mentioned food ideas.
• Mashed potato and broccoli with cheese • cootage cheese with fruit • Sliced soft fruit( bannana, kiwi or mango) • small sandwiches with a smear of cream cheese or avocado • caulifower with cheese • carefully deboned white fish • Mashed beans or lentils • oats porridge • cooked white or brown rice |
